Privacy notice

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This notice explains what personal information Remi collects through this website and through our outreach to care providers, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, email team@get-remi.ai and a person will reply.

This notice covers the get-remi.ai website, the early list, and our contact with care home owners about a pilot. It does not cover the Remi app itself, which will have its own privacy information before anyone uses it.

Who we are

Remi is run by NorthLab Ventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17527122), registered office 6b Church Street, North Cave, Brough, HU15 2LW. NorthLab Ventures Limited is the controller of the personal information described here.

You can contact us about anything in this notice at team@get-remi.ai.

Joining the early list

When you join the early list we collect your first name, your email address, whether you are interested as a storyteller, a family member, a care provider or something else, and, if you choose to give them, your organisation and your answer to "What would make this useful to you?". We also record that you ticked the box agreeing that we may email you about Remi.

We use this to email you about Remi and about opportunities to help shape or try it, and to understand who Remi might be useful for. We rely on your consent to email you, and on our legitimate interest in developing Remi to keep your details and read your answers. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or writing to team@get-remi.ai, and we will stop.

When someone joins, our team may receive an email with the details from the form so that we can reply. A short notice, with no name or email address, may also be posted to our team's internal chat when a care provider joins.

We keep early-list details for 12 months from when you join, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Visiting the website

We use PostHog to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, which questions in the FAQ are opened, how quickly pages load, and where clicks happen that do nothing. This helps us work out what people are looking for and what is unclear.

PostHog is set up so that it does not store anything on your device, so it sets no cookies. It does not record your name, your email address or anything you type into the form, and we do not use it to identify you. PostHog receives your IP address when your browser sends it data, and our PostHog account is set to discard IP addresses rather than store them. It also receives technical details such as your browser type, screen size and the page you came from. PostHog may occasionally show a short optional survey on the site; answering is up to you.

We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it. We keep analytics data for up to 12 months.

Our website host, Lovable, also provides basic visit statistics. Its script records the page you visit, the site you came from, your browser and your language setting, and sends them to Tinybird, which Lovable uses to process the statistics. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.

Cookies

The website sets three cookies:

  • __cf_bm, set by Cloudflare, which protects the website from automated abuse. It lasts 30 minutes and is needed for the site to work.
  • __dpl, set by our website host, Lovable, which makes sure your visit is served by the correct version of the site. It is needed for the site to work.
  • session-id, set by Lovable's visit statistics, which groups the pages you view during one visit. It lasts 30 minutes.

We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work.

If we contacted you about a pilot

We contact owners and directors of care homes and small care groups in England to ask whether they would like to talk about taking part in a pilot of Remi.

We find care homes and their owners from public sources: the Care Quality Commission's register of care providers, Companies House, and business information published online, such as a care home's website and business listings. From these we hold your name, your role, the name of your company and care home, business contact details such as a work phone number, and a business email address that our outreach provider finds and verifies. We only contact companies, not sole traders or partnerships.

We rely on our legitimate interest in telling care providers about a service that may be relevant to them, and we have balanced that against your interests: the information comes from public business registers, it is used only for this purpose, and every email tells you where we found your details and how to stop further contact. If you reply "no thanks", or ask us in any other way, we will not contact you again. We keep a short record of your company and email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you by mistake in future.

We keep outreach records for 12 months from our last contact, unless we start working together.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with organisations that provide services to us and act on our instructions under contract:

  • Our website and its database are hosted by Lovable, with Cloudflare protecting the site. Lovable uses Tinybird to process its visit statistics.
  • PostHog provides website analytics, hosted in the European Union.
  • lemlist sends our outreach emails and finds and verifies business email addresses. Apify is used to gather information from public business sources.
  • Our email, internal chat and file storage providers (including Microsoft and GitHub) hold the information we work with day to day.

We also share information with people who work with us on Remi under contract and a duty of confidentiality, where they need it for that work. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our service providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on a UK adequacy decision for the country concerned, or on safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK extension to the EU to US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for details at team@get-remi.ai.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to how we use it (including, at any time, to our outreach), and in some cases to ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time.

To use any of these rights, email team@get-remi.ai. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

The website and the early list are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use personal information, we will update this notice and the date at the top. If a change affects people on the early list, we will tell them by email.
